• Glenbard 5/09
  Reason earned her AX and AXJ this weekend....although she was a bit naughty on the standard course on Saturday, she certainly redeemed herself on Sunday!

  We had some very nice moments.....Reason is really giving me a run for my money!
  
  
• Plano 5/09
  Reason earned a JWW on Saturday and a standard leg on Sunday......just have to laugh at her two on / two off on the table on Saturday!!
  
  
• Paw Powers 4/09
  Just getting back into competing after Reason's cycle. She really is a blast to run!
  
  
• St. Louis 2/09
  Reason was fantastic, too bad her handler prevented her from getting more than one qualifier! She earned her first AXJ leg, and beat Clever's time doing so (shhhh we haven't told Clever that!)

• Lhasa Apso Club 2/09
  Reason earned her OA title on Saturday!!! She really did great....all the problems encountered were absolutely the fault of her goofy handler :-)

• NSDTRC Trial 1/09
  Reason did great..well except for pausing at the top of the a-frame because her handler told her to touch before she went up the a-frame (bad handler!) and jumping on the handler at the table (naughty girl!). Someone commented that she runs with a smile on her face....and she really does!

• New Years Trial 2009
  Reason was fantastic this weekend! Her jumping is getting better/more confident and she ran 4 out of 6 clean, pushing her handler to run faster and faster! Her first standard run is hysterical....she got bounced of the teeter and was ready to bite it before jumping back on it! She really is Ms. Personality in the agility ring as well as at home.

• Thanksgiving Weekend Trial
  Reason did very well, earning her NA and NAJ over the weekend. One of her jumpers runs she tried to destroy the course and I feared she was hurt or still bothered by an incident that happened just before the run, so we walked off the course. She did not seem to be hurt and ran like the champ she is the next day!

• Reason's AKC Debut 10/25-10/26/08
  Due to Kris' cold and Reason having burned a pad running contacts, Reason only ran jumpers with weaves on Saturday. She did a great job despite the dropped bars and knocked stanton! Sunday Reason ran standard and jumpers.....she did phenominal....two first places and she completed her jumpers run in 17 seconds!!!! Kris was thrilled, even though Pip locked them out of the car while they were running standard :-)

• Reason's Preview... August 16-17, 2008
  
  Day 1 -- Jumpers
  Reason has her first competition (if you can call it that!) in NADAC. She did wonderful! Reason and Clever ran the same course at the same jump height. Reason and Clever were in different class (Clever is in the 20+ class as he is more than 20", and Reason is in the 20 class). Clever beat Reason both runs, but only by .49 and .35 seconds. This is wonderful as Reason was very reserved given the environment and distractions. I walked away today thrilled with Reason and Clever taking 2 first places! Look out Clever, Reason has your number!!! Reason will probably begin trialing this winter as we have some work to do!
  
  Day 2 -- Tunnels
  Reason was awesome! Her handler sent her through 4 extra tunnels, and she was still 1.50 seconds faster than Pip (although in Pip's defense, she thought doing all those tunnels was silly). In Reason's second run, her handler remembered the course and Reason was 4.10 seconds faster than Pip (who still thinks running through all those tunnels was silly)!

Special Tricks and Around the House!

Reason Swimming -- August 3, 2008
Reason is the only dog in the household that will jump into the pool on her own without a toy being thrown.....of course with me standing out on the side of the pool, Pip actually went in for a swim without a toy, and then Clever was walking the edge of the pool when told to get off the edge, he jumped in!!! Sure prove the handler wrong....thanks Pip and Clever!!!!!! :-)
